Plain weave fabric, originated from the himalaian region of Chang-Toung, from the oldest time.

The originarian Chang-Toung, very precious, was made of pure dupion, or burrs with double issued simultaneously by two bugs, rare and expensive (two silkworms spinning the cocoon).

The 1742 is woven with warp and weft silk silk doublet indigenous, preserving the typical gloss irregular, interrupted by 'alternating knots, slubs and buttons.

Light uncomparable by other fibers, use almost 'universal.
