Plain weave fabric, from the region of Chang-Toung right from 'antiquity'.

The shantung original, valuable, was made of pure duplication, or burrs with double issued simultaneously by two bugs, rare and expensive (two silkworms spinning the cocoon).

The 1742 is woven with warp and weft silk silk doublet indigenous, preserving the typical gloss irregular, interrupted by 'alternating knots, slubs and buttons.

Light incomparable with other fibers, natural crease, use almost 'universal.
